CIRALI RUYA HOTEL

Translated into English, "Ruya" means "dream". The name speaks for itself, since the hotel is located at a very picturesque location. The town of Cirali can be found in one of Turkey’s prettiest areas directly on the Turkish Riviera, also known as the Turquoise Coast. It is also part of a nature reserve. The next larger town is called Kemer and offers the whole range of touristic infrastructure. Your destination airport is located in Antalya. In addition to it’s flair, hospitality and the home-cooked specialties of the local Turkish cuisine, the hotel’s location make it the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing vacation in one of the few remaining nearly undisturbed parts of nature.

Cirali is an agricultural village in southwest Turkey, in the Kemer district of Antalya Province. It is walking distance from the ancient ruins of Olympos and Chimaera permanent gas vents, located in the ancient Lycia region of Anatolia.

It is a very small rural village located just over an hour's drive southwest from Antalya and has a 3.5 km secluded beach. The ancient ruins of Olympos are located on the far end of the sea side and in a long hike up the mountains the flames of the Chimaera. Cirali is also known for being an area protected by the WWF for the nesting of caretta, also known as loggerhead sea turtles.

Cirali's beach is surrounded by family-run pensions conveniently located for tourists. Little cafes run along the seashore down to the side of the beach with the ancient ruins of Olympos. The location of the beach allows people to enjoy the sunrise that spreads over the salty Mediterranean Sea.

The "secret seaside" is also near the Ulupınar region which is rich in rivers and creeks. In fact, Cirali is one of the last untouched natural areas along the Antalya coastline.

Highlights of the Lycian Way with paths can also be found in Cirali. One of these paths runs from Cirali to Tekirova (19 km) and another travels from Cirali to Ulupınar and then back down to the flames of the Chimaera, which is around 12 km. Another section of the Lycian Way (Likya Yolu) near Cirali, is the summit of Tahtalı Dağ, also known as Mt. Olympos. It is located in the National Park of Olympos or Olimpos Bey Dağları Parkı.

Cirali is full of historic sites such as the ruins of Olympos and the flames of Chimaera. It is also a highly visited location during the summer for its large seaside.
